Want to try a different drink for your breakfast? Orange Julius used to be an American chain very famous for its orange drink (Orange Julius). The original drink available in the malls used to be packed with sugars but there are various healthy versions one can try at home with ease and without any addition of refined sugars. It’s made with real fruits and is like an orange smoothie drink but a bit creamy. 

Servings 2 small-medium glasses


  • 4 oranges, medium-large
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


  • Peel the oranges and blend to make juice. Remove the pulp/bits using a sieve. Now add the rest of the ingredients and blend in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Pour into glasses and enjoy right away.
