Crepes are one of our favourite sweet breakfast treats. The best part is they are not at all difficult to make and you can use any filling of your choice – be it cream, berries, Nutella, lemon & sugar sprinkle, maple syrup…..the list is endless! And when these are combined with edible flowers, they make the crepes look so much more attractive!! They add that unique flavour and touch to your dishes. You would be surprised to see how many of these are easily available from your own garden. I have been growing some Violas and Pansies in my backyard and they have come in so handy recently in garnishing and cooking!

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1, 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted


  • Blend all ingredients in a food processor. Coat your non stick pan with some butter & pour in a small ladle of batter. Sprinkle the edible flowers & cook until the bottom is starting to brown, then flip & cook for another minute on low heat.
