Time for some weekend treat!! This is a super quick way to make these mocha doughnuts….a little treat for doing well with clean eating on the weekdays!


  • 35g olive oil
  • 180g plain flour 
  • 170g yoghurt
  • 80g milk
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs medium 
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate coffee glaze:

  • 1 bar (150g) 60% dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 1 tbsp coffee dissolved in 2 tbsp hot water

Servings 12 small sized donuts


  • Preheat oven to 170C and grease two small 6-hole donuts moulds.
  • Combine all dry ingredients and mix well. Repeat the same process for all the wet ingredients.
  • Mix wet and dry ingredients together with an electric whisker.
  • Divide between 12 donut holes until 2/3 full and bake for 10-12 minutes at 170C until golden and cooked. Set aside to cool.
  • Meanwhile to prepare the topping, melt dark chocolate in a bowl over some hot water in a pan. Fold in butter, cream & coffee & mix well. Dip top half of the donut into this mocha mix and leave on a wire rack to set and drip out excess chocolate.
