Description:
An amazing effortless recipe passed on from my mom..I have been making this chocolate delight since years now and my kids love it…There can be plenty of variations and a number of flavours you can try like with dessicated coconut, nuts, rose syrup/petals, dried berries…the list is incessant. You can skip coffee and it’s succulent just with cocoa too.
There are so many different ways of making chocolate balls/truffles but I find this one trouble-free and very straightforward. Give it a try and I am sure you won’t be disappointed!
Ingredients
- 20 tea biscuits
- 75g (6tbsp) granulated sugar
- 1.5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (I used dark)
- 2 tsp coffee dissolved in 1 tbsp hot water
- 2 tbsp cream
- 2-3 tbsp sweetened cocoa powder for coating (optional)
Instructions
Combine the tea biscuits and sugar and grind to a fine powder in a food processor.
Add in cocoa powder and mix well. Add the cool coffee dissolved in the water and combine to ensure there are no lumps.
Fold in the cream gradually and add just enough to make small round balls. Dust or roll the balls in some sweetened cocoa powder.
